@Sugar_Cuube oh!! also since there are no lines to divide anything, each separate object has to contrast enough with one another to easily tell them apart. originally, i had experimented w a pink bg, but it was hard to discern his skin/bike from it so i went for the light blue instead
@Sugar_Cuube and to get rid of the excess on the shadow layer, i inverse select the merged colors layer, select the shadow layer, and delete the excess. after that its just fixing small details and figuring out what to do w the background
@Sugar_Cuube my method is to put the sketch on multiply above the color layers, blob all of the colors onto it, and then carve out the shapes i want. it helps me massively to put each color on a different layer (and have one where all are merged). i do the same w shadows+
