@re_yost I always had an interest in architecture which got me to want to draw environments early on. Here's my first-ever environment piece (2003/04) next to my latest (this year)
I only recently started doing BG art for animation because for a LONG time I thought I wasn't good enough

Episode 5 of Inside Job is about nostalgia, so when I was asked to draw "The Growing Years" dining room, I based it off memories of how my childhood home looked, down to this weird goose thing we had on the wall, seen here in one of our old home videos.
