just a random observation, i noticed that yuri have big boobs but i never really noticed it bcs the manga itself never tried to make a huge deal about it by constantly flashing it to the audience which is nice i guess 😂

and suprise, surprise! majority of the official illustrations & merchs from shoujo romcoms are couple-centric (instead of individualistic) where both of them are portrayed as beautiful! even the ones that consist of hot guy/ugly girl dynamic as you people eloquently put 👀

ppl trying to use the shoujo mc is just as ugly & bland as shounen romcom mc argument when that's literally one of the biggest & GLARING difference between shounen & shoujo. the latter actually CARES to emphasize the fem mc's attractiveness despite being canonically "average"
