He's probably most well known for his vertically distorted imagery, many time depicting Church rituals!

Michael Johnson is a severely underrated UK illustrator & painter.

I couldn't find a birth date, but he illustrated for all the big magazines in the USA and UK in the 1950s-70s. He has since transitioned into gallery painting, and from my research, is still doing it!
