‘Norseman’ (1972) Frazetta was always in search of ways to depict the human figure in action. Here, he felt he had triumphed. Frazetta’s palette was ground breaking and eye opening. In 1973, Norseman was used as the dust jacket cover for the hardback release of Flashing Swords #1
This Frazetta oil painting was published in a 1978 TV Guide and appeared as an advertisement for the TV show Battlestar Galactica.
