found this old kid Bruny doodle and i got inspired to try and draw a show accurate baby, kid and adult Bruny <3

And finally, Sprout! I gave him more of a draft horse build as he is a country bumpkin who's trying to prove himself to everyone. His red coat color grew on me so I didn't change that but I did update his cutie mark.

Hitch! The yellow-teal palette is nice but I can barely tell him and Sunny apart from afar and the group lacks a blue pony. I once again used concept art for this design! In this version, police ponies wear golden horseshoes for more stamina.

Moving on to the main character! I can't think of a better name for her but I did always think her concept art was wasted potential. This Sunny is a curious pony who fills the lighthouse up with her inventions.

Now, Zepheryna is a fun name but again, how does that become Zipp...? Zeph suffices. This way her and her sister's name still kinda rhymes (Mel and Zeph!) I also gave her curlier hair and a hoodie she uses as a disguise.

Another name that makes zero sense to me is Pipp Petals. What does that have to do with Pipp's talent or personality? In my version she is called princess Melody and she's more of an 80's pop star than 2020's. I also added more of a family resemblance with her sister.

Now, Izzy didn't need redesigning but I do hate her name so in my version Moonbow is her full name and her nickname is Moony! (Fun contrast with Sunny!)
