Wild Cherry Blossom is native to Britain. Its white blossom flowers briefly before fading & so like its Japanese pink blossom cousin (sakura) it is a symbol of the transience of life. So to encounter a wild cherry tree is regarded as both auspicious & fateful. #FairyTaleTuesday
