Aside from the "FIVE BY FIVE"

Ash eye also turns orange in the end, Viper was an iconic orange too. His helmet glow was similar in tone.

This leads me to think a part of Viper memories are inside Ash's head, assuming the simulacrum Viper theory is correct.
