I have a hard time with self portraits, largely because I dislike how my face looks, but I think I’m finally happy with this one. Getting back to doing art has been a lot harder than I ever expected, so this portrait was a trial from start to finish. Anyway, I hope you like it!

When I made this, it was about persevering through grief—about how crushing it is while you're just expected to keep moving forward.

She's at the bottom of the ocean, the pressure alone could kill her; but she has to keep going. Maybe going is what saves her?

I needed this tonight, so maybe you do to. 🤣🤣🤣
