Ok, more about them as characters. If it wasn't obvious now, they're twins! They were both born in Hearthome, Sinnoh on February 18th, although Rosa is slightly older.

Their mom (Rhonda) is a contest star, and their dad (Richard) runs the Pokémon Fan Club in Hearthome.

Here are both of their old designs ( excuse the art quality, 2018 remember? ) back when the comic was still in the works. Ray was a generic jerk rival, and Rosa was kinda like Marnie from SwSh.
