New episode of The Greymuzzle Archives is up! This time I am interviewing Tazel Sixpaws, formerly Prismo Decatur. Link below! This one went almost two hours, I had a lot of fun and Tazel brought some real good honest humanity in this one.
This isn't the first time a furry has been on the funny pages, Aaron Macgruder's The Boondocks was ghost-drawn by Jennifer Seng AKA @Spunkywulf from 2004-2005.
The webcomic Furry Experience by @EllenNatalie87, which is about "college roommates, living in the heart of Utah Valley...[navigating] Mormon culture", launches in August of 2009. It is still currently ongoing.
In the wake of many pieces of anti-gay legislation passing in America's 2004 elections, artist @Taurin_Fox creates Standing Proud as a statement of support in the fight for marriage equality. The image is later circulated out of context and presented as a "furry pride" image.
Season 2 of Bojack Horseman has a small panda character prominently named Alan. This is a reference to Alan T. Panda, real name Alan Berlin, who made headlines in 2012 when he was arrested for trying to arrange a fursuited sexual encounter with a 15 year-old boy. (Jul 17, 2015)
Sekmet AKA Mitch Beiro "marries" the Animaniacs character Minerva Mink in a comedic skit at ConFurence 12. Since the con took place in Burbank there were Warner Bros animators in attendance, and they made their thoughts on the whole thing very clear. (2001)
