Notice how the USS Dauntless in #StarTrekProdigy's "Crossroads" has a "classic" shield bubble with a hexagonal pattern ⬆️. While the USS Protostar has the same hexagonal pattern, its shield bubble closely hugs the shape of the hull ("A Moral Star II"⬇️).
The #StarTrekProdigy episode "Crossroads" features these beautiful shots of the USS Protostar on the surface of the icy Denaxi Depot planet.
This collage shows the smaller ⬆️ and larger ⬇️ version of the Areore ship, as seen in the #StarTrekLowerDecks episode "A Mathematically Perfect Redemption". Notive the small details between the two ships on the wings and the aft end. Can I have a model, please? 😅
I love the bird-like Areore starship designs ⬆️ and the slightly different bridges of the larger ➡️ and smaller ⬇️ ship, seen in the #StarTrekLowerDecks episode "A Mathematically Perfect Redemption". Egg-shaped consoles and display screens! :-)
It's awesome that #StarTrekLowerDecks put the Arcturians in the spotlight in "Reflections", even giving one a speaking role. The aliens were created for #Star Trek: The Motion Picture" by Fred Phillips and Robert Fletcher. The tiny images show how much of them was actually seen.
The Romulan D'deridex class Warbird, as seen in the #StarTrekLowerDecks season 1 episode "Veritas"⬆️ and the season 3 episode "Reflections"⬇️. Notice how the warbird is much more detailed now. Pay special attention to the side of the nacelles, behind the green lights 1/2
I love when #StarTrekLowerDecks makes props canon, that have so far not actually been seen on Star Trek. The Klingon bloodwine barrel was created for a deleted scene in "The Sword of Kahless" and the prop appeared in "The Art of Star Trek". In "Reflections"➡️, it is seen again.😊
Starfleet (Tech)nical Services Academy, as mentioned in the #StarTrekLowerDecks episode "Reflections"↖️↗️↙️, was originally established in season 7 of #StarTrekTNG, as it was seen in Alfonse Pacelli's personnel file in "Eye of the Beholder"↘️. That's pretty damn obscure! :-)
I love how we got a look at the Delta Flyer's inner workings (look at the deflector dish!) in the #StarTrekLowerDecks episode "Reflections"⬆️. It reminded me of a similar shot in #StarTrekVOY's "Extreme Risk"⬇️ that shows the Flyer at a much later stage of completion.
I love how the computer screens of the Rutherford's racer, the Sampaguita in the #StarTrekLowerDecks episode "Reflections"⬆️ are clearly based on the M-5 multitronic unit in "The Ultimate Computer"⬇️. That's a pretty deep cut and a welcome TOS reference! :-)
