There were decades where the dominant talk was that Marvel was edgier and DC was the staid, conservative comics company.

But I have always maintained that DC's Mayberry facade hid the coolest and most disturbing side alleys. I loved the weirdness of the DCU best of all.

Bane is badass.

This is a GORGEOUS and lyrical book about the power of music and human connection. I’m not finished with it yet, but it’s beautiful AND they also sent strawberry Pocky.
