There were quests that led to people fighting. Elf War Campaign or the Anneal Blade quest.
But the reason for fighting was not because the quest told you to. They were instanced quests with only 1 person/party being able to attempt it & people wanted to get ahead of each other.

Also, Moon Cradle v20 content soon! Hoping to start with Cruiga Flashback as an anime scene, but that's wishful thinking.

Ofc, needs to be reminded that Integral Factor continues to do bare minimum to achieve this consistency. On schedule (long wait time) big & small Floor releases, minimal tie-in events & promotion if any.
What you should keep an eye on is how future floors (75+) will factor in.

On the other side, it may just be minor teaser events, rather than an "adaptation" they are doing for Moon Cradle. Similar very extensive story events were made for Alicization for a year in Memory Defrag. We may learn more about the Rondo plans on the January 30th stream. #SAOUB

Final couple pages of #SwordArtOnline v20 is the best Moon Cradle has to offer.
Not because the story comes to a conclusion (because it doesn't lel), but because it finally (and brilliantly) manages to address the topics it aimed to, but failed to address throughout its story.

Also, for the love of god, give custom NPC that are vital to your story at least placeholder sprites. It also won't cost a game of this calibre anything to have 2-3 additional custom sprites per floor. Heck, hire @jengkayart or @kiriash_ who have done great work for my videos!
