Still trying to figure out how the seating position works in the cockpit of Slave-1. Even if the chair rotates 90° from the [elephant head] flying position, Boba Fett/Jango Fett would either be lying on their back when landing or facing into the ship and not out the window.
Starcrash, John Barry. 1978
Released a year after Star Wars but looking like a forgotten classic from the late 60s, Starcrash is an odd and derivative film but a very enjoyable one. The score by Barry is familiar fare and possible the best Bond music that never was. Recommended.
David Bowie, Scary Monsters [and Super Creeps] 1980.
From the screaming opener of It's No Game [Pt.1] through Ashes To Ashes and Fashion to the calmer closer of [pt2], Scary Monsters remains a favourite Bowie album with Station To Station and The Man Who Sold the World. #ShutUp
Tin Machine 2, Tin Machine. 1991.
Listening again fresh after twenty years. It's holds up and is better than some of Bowie's 80s solo albums. Just don't understand the hate the band received. Discover both Tin Machine albums and listen without prejudice. You might be surprised.
Star Wars by Tom Chantrell
This was the UK poster I remember at the Glasgow ODEON back in 1977. It captured all the excitement and adventure in one image and it certainly didn't disappoint the nine year old kid who saw the film that changed his life. A favourite poster.
