I'm sure this is a coincidence since Naoko Takeuchi created Sailor Moon before 1992 (the year Mariners adopted their current colors), but I love how Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus, one of anime's most famous lesbian couples, donn ALL the colors of Seattle Mariners baseball.

Note she was NOT modeled after any girl in real life.

She was conceived right after Strumbeat and her current design was made April 9, 2013.
