The posters for the Chinese releases of Studio Ghibli films are generally outstanding

With that in mind... Our first two films couldn't be more different. ON-GAKU is a wonderfully offbeat high school band anime made by a team of amateurs, while PROMARE is a wild, colourful, action-packed feature from one of the greatest studios working today, Studio Trigger.

Two relatively recent Studio Ghibli films were released in Japan on 19th July: Hayao Miyazaki's ham-bitious fish-out-of-water flick Ponyo (2008) and Hiromasa Yonebayashi's wistful girl-out-of-time drama When Marnie Was There (2014).
