Runic battle axes? 80s Storm hair? I am fucking *here* for this
which wood elves was better, the rebecca guay one, or the rebecca guay one?
Yamamoto Akifumi, aka @yam248 gave us this amazing Kiora, and while she also works on CCGs, she does some incredibly cool surrealist watercolor stuff.
@foomidori gave us new narset and teyo (another fave) and they do a bunch of really adorable art work on their tumblr that is worth your time to go and absorb. Also your standard ccg cards
Midorikawa Miho, aka @gr_river, gave us this lovely Ajani, but really, they draw dragons. And their resume is a mile long, going back to working on Sorcerian on the dreamcast all the way through to my beloved culdsept on DS
Mikio Masuda gave us new Huatli, but mainly does a lot of mecha style art for CCGs
@fuzichoco did Tamiyo, and does a bunch of ccg and mobile art, but their real jam is epic anime landscapes and spatial drawings. these are just incredible.
@hagiya_k did the art of Davriel, and is also a CCG/mobile artist on games like Warring States
Yasushi Suzuki? Who did the Arlin Kord as an 80s manga cover? did the art for a ton of Treasure games, like Sin and Punishment, Radiant Silvergun, and IKAFREAKINRUGA
@shinomaru_hozan, who gave us the god Ashiok art, is an insanely talented ccg artist who started as a fan artist. We need them to shift to mainline mtg!
