This is a throwback to this little doodle I did for Kai when he was a kittom! I wanted to do it better justice since I didn't have the time to back then. So I figured what better way than to make a follow-up story with his daughter, Suiko! 🤍

Kai led Suiko down a worn path that eventually turned from grass to stone beneath their paws. The moment the ground sunk away from her view she knew they had arrived at their destination. 🤍🌿

This was so much work but I'm so proud of it ;//; Haven't done a big piece in so long!

Suiko had just finished up her lantern when Kai came to check on her. "Come on! There's something I want to show you." He mewed, then walked on with her in tow. ⛅

I dug up my first ever attempt at a willow tree from 10 years ago, omg it’s mud.. 😳 I’ve only started seriously dabbling in backgrounds for the past couple years but it still makes me happy to see this improvement!!
