What’s up #HeroesFanzine! My name is Carlos & I’m from Cleveland, Ohio 👋🏼
I’m a streamer, illustrator, advocate, & passionate about games culture. I draw because I want to get to know myself better & to hold myself to a standard where I am always learning. Here’s some of my art.
LOOPELOT (loop + ocelot) 🍃
Evolves from KNOTELOT. It's former yarn-ball tail weaves into many colorful ribbons wrapping around it's body. The plants growing off of LOOPELOT give off a majestic aura that is said to give color to all the beautiful plants in Izmis.
With only 7 designs complete, I've already learned so much just by researching. Ultimately, this project is to help me with my character design skills. To make sure I'm approaching everything with intentionality and respect. I can't wait to share with you what I've learned :)
Pokémon really inspired my curiosity for geography and my love for animals as odd as that sounds lol. Obviously, every Pokémon is based on animals + elements that also exist in the real world. These Pokémon are designed in a way that makes the most sense for their ecosystem.
This is kind of an overview of why I'm using Pokémon as my way to explore my own identities that I know of, others within proximity and others that I did not have access to as easily growing up.
Pokémon is inspired by the world. Every region is based on a real world place.
Just finished the 2nd stage evolution for Tapirtot!
Everyone meet, Bubblebir! This Pokémon walks on it's hind legs. It's wand-like tail takes the form of pure bubbles. It's said Bubblebir have purified the river waters of the Izmis region for generations.💭🧼 https://t.co/FjBn3BLvnd
