This piece is about the gayness in our history and how it's been ignored or repackaged into something else. I did this a few months ago but never had a proper "artist statement" until now. (thread below)

i drew frankenstein('s monster)! i used 7B and 9B graphite pencils and conte for this piece and i blended with cotton balls and cotton swabs. this is my first time using this blending technique and my first time attempting to go for a realistic skin texture 🧟🖤
