Katsuhiro Otomo- I don't know how to put into words the way I felt when I watched Akira for the first time at around 10 years old, but the visual style and especially the way that light effects the characters and the compositions always stuck with me.

The group "Clamp"- This was an 11 person illustration team which made Chobits and not necessarily the illustrations but the concept has a really big influence on Cat Girl. Though the process by which they do the illustrations is something I have done and has a really nice effect
