Oh my goodness, somebody ANIMATED this comic. I don't know where to find it at the moment and would love to see it again and would love to shout out the person who Animated it. :D

Kids say awful shit. When I was 15 I had... a traumatic amount of acne... and I was babysitting my little cousin and when we were watching SpongeBob or whatever, she turned and stared at me for what seemed like forever. Then she shouted, "YOU'VE GOT A ZIT FACE!" Hurt so much lol

I don't think there's a word or phrase I settled on for what Aurora was. Internally, in my mind, I always called her a space baby. I guess officially she's an "Element of Harmony" lol. When she changed into her sparkly form I always called her Super Aurora.

Both Non-Bow Ally and Bow Pasqy would be alternate costumes in the It Hurts fighting game that'll never exist

That is the stupidest looking Skull that could ever exist. Fuckin Mark.

The slow trickle of "oh holy shit" moments was fun to watch people react to, because at this point I think I did have a few fans that weren't just my close buddies.

All my life, I would get incredibly depressed on Sunday knowing I'd have to go back to school or work the next day. I'm a lot better these days, but yeah damn.

Also when I get in these intense badbrains modes, it is very tough to shake it off. Suddenly the whole sad day flew by.

But as time went on and Aurora interacted with the cast more and more, I realized that there was a lot more to her. She started reminding me of this other friend I met in high school. Originally Aurora was gonna be a straight up villain, but in hindsight that's not as interesting

Like I said, @JosefSchwem and I planned lots of stuff before I started making the comics. But a lot of those plans changed or evolved. One of the biggest changes was Aurora's personality and role.

All characters in It Hurts were aspects of myself or interpretations of concepts. Also somr were tributes to my friends. Ally's personality was based on this girl I knew who would take me to the animal shelter and eat dog food & also brag about blacking out and beating people up
