I knew I’d love this just knowing Ostertag’s work in general but it is, of course, a fantastic book about learning flexibility in the face of life’s chaos (a lesson I honestly should take to heart) and another excellent queer GN nobody should miss.

18: Knuckles the Echidna (Archie)

I have scarcely known a greater pain than trying to read the Archie Sonic comics and getting interrupted constantly by Ken Penders’ space-messiah adventures. Don’t usually note mini-series here but after this I want people to know I survived it.

13: Failed Princesses

Very inspirational GL manga for me that I’m glad to finally own in full. 6 volumes, strong characters, big emotions, Shojo vibes, and a contrasting duo that I always love. One of my favorites, I think.

11: Side Effects

Short graphic novel about anxiety and medication. I liked it! Great dialogue, lively art, and I like that it was both informative and creative about medication with a super-hero twist. Heed its trigger warnings but otherwise try it out, good short book.
