There's a resolution in which the cops are being corrupted by an outside force (of course), which, sure, devalues the story somewhat -- but what's ultimately important is that Superman doesn't know that by the time he stands up for what's right. This is why I love Superman.

I mean, I guess it's cute that Marvel is promoting DC's Death Metal with its own line of Dark Multiverse variant covers in May, but it's certainly surprising.

Also, this is very Superman, doing what Superman does.

Thank God these heroes are returning to the Marvel Universe.
