Birds' Wedding (#Vogelhochzeit) is a Sorbian custom. On the evening of Jan 24 children put empty plates outside, the morning after they find pastries, meringues and candy in the form of birds, which are said to have been left by birds celebrating their wedding. #FolkloreThursday
