I wanted to show the strong bond between Zerxus and Nydas, hence the matching red ("bounded in blood"). Nydas supported Patia materially, but also acted as a stabilizer of the group, so a strong pose like a fist was fitting (6/🧵)

@SHelmigh Ahhh I love the second one!! At first glance you wouldn’t realize something foul was at play, but then you see those streaks of blood…! this post made me realize that I don’t draw as many villains as I thought, I gotta get back to work 😈

it felt REALLY GOOD to draw these three again after so long--here's some of the other stuff I've drawn of them over the years (from 2017/2018...I can't believe it's been that long 🥲 )
