Here is a painting for "Thumbling" (or Tom Thumb) from Tales From the Brothers Grimm. A talking cow is believed to be possessed by the devil and in need of exorcism. But it's just Thumbling, hiding in the cow's stomach.
According to the 1812 translation by Margaret Hunt, the wolf in "Little Red-Cap" receives his comeuppance when he is snipped open with a scissors so that Little Red-Cap and her grandmother can escape. He is then filled with heavy stones and sewed back together.
