the whole point of her relationship with ash is that he is the reason she discovered who she was. he allowed her to find her dream, and in turn pushed her to work harder than ever she has towards anything else in her entire life. he was her mentor, her reason to keep going.

serena deserves so much more recognition than what yous treat her as. she isn't "ash's future wife" she's probably the best development companion out of anyone. her entire future has already been laid out for her, and none of that is "being ash's wife". #anipoke
