There are numerous major threats posed to the #BlackRhino, as depicted on our #Guernsey #stamp, including habitat changes, competing species and, by far the most detrimental, illegal poaching. Almost all black rhinos are found in South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Kenya.
Catching our breath after a busy few days at @ThePTSLondon last week. We’re so pleased that you like our latest #stamp issues, but do you have a favourite? We’d love to know!
The Black Rhinoceros is the 12th species to feature in our #endangeredspecies #stamp set. Also known as the hook-lipped rhinoceros, the black rhino is one of the world’s oldest groups of mammals
We’ll also be releasing #Alderney #stamps at #Stampex depicting The Wombles characters to mark the publication of the first book, as well as our exhibition mini sheet to celebrate #ValentinesDay
Just one week until the release of our #Guernsey #stamps at this year’s #Stampex! We’ll be issuing the latest instalment in our #EndangeredSpecies series with a stamp depicting the black rhino and new #Bailiwick Flowers Post & Go stamps
Our #stamp issues, which are to be released on 14 February, are available to pre-order from today. We hope that you love them as much as we do #ValentinesDay #endangeredspecies #TheWombles https://t.co/KzmIc28r9E
