revamping old oc's? i think i will

after some sleep and a quick revision i think i would have liked to finish it up this way but i wanted to finish it last night. its something ill note for next time!

i wasnt going to go this far but its 3 am now and i kind of love this but maybe ill feel different when i wake up

some color experiments; i love dramatic lighting esp in 3d environments, but i get all caught up in the different layer modes. i had to compromise with the 2nd image. it was supposed to be midday lighting, but ill have to give it another try.

not sure which i like better. i know people think black lines are harsh but i prefer black lined art. theres just not a whole ton of artists i follow who draw with thick chunky black lines.

2015 vs 2020 turnaround. The original was for a Sheridan portfolio application that was rejected. It was for the best, though, and it pushed me to keep going and get better. It definitely was not a great character design for animation tbh 😳
