But I also love Roanhorse's Star Wars book even though I rarely read those! And I've read her middle grade Race to the Sun to my kiddo at least 7 times in the past two years (at her request, and to my delight). And also her short story in The Cursed Carnival.
But then, there's Black Sun and Fevered Star which are the first two installments in the Between Earth & Sky series and they are epic fantasy at its absolute FINEST.
"Brilliant fantasy. Engaging characters, enchanting world building, and epic scope." - my Goodereads review
@TheAdamHolcombe Ok. Stylistic copy attempt #1! I am pleased with the stained glass effect. I need to spend more time on the lead look, and more time on the stained glass overall effect, but for a quick 90 minute effort, I am pleased.
@mcclungmike @AuthorAllegra @tcparkerlives @DouglasLumsden1 @SwordsCorsets @ke_rosero @RCahillAuthor @EscapistBookCo @NikiBond008 Please enjoy a raccoon god!
Kiddo is sick and asked me for a special Hallow picture. And let’s be honest, I’d do anything to make kiddo feel better. So, behold, Hallow helping out a very jolly friend of hers for Solstice.
Fam, I’m going to head to bed early, but I leave you with a terrifying night void with wings… Don’t be fooled by his fuzzy appearance… Him Darkness!
@EsmeWeatherwax8 Sending all the hugs. This part sucks so much there aren’t words. But here’s a spoopy gargoyle in case that helps.
Been playing with Midjourney and it’s pretty fun. The images it spits out are cool, but often lack important bits (like faces and tails on animals) so I have been editing them in Procreate. Here’s one I did at 3am (and yes I should have been sleeping, but oh well).
Disappearing into the woods for a few days, twitter Fam. See you when I get back next week. This raccoon will watch over you while I’m gone.
