So, we're now $702 away from our audiobook stretch goal and I want to take a moment to talk about why this particular stretch goal has so many of our anthology authors excited. (Cover art sketch included because it's pretty. Link at end of thread so people actually see this!) 1/?
And HERE is the latest sketch from Zoe for The Alchemy of Sorrow cover (with alt text included) and I think it makes it very clear why we chose Zoe for this project. She has brought to life a beautiful vision of The Alchemy of Sorrow that captures all of the emotions. (9/?)
Whoaaa we're half way theerre!
Ahem. It's February 14th. We're smack dab in the middle of our Kickstarter campaign. I'm delighted & humbled to report that we're 155% funded right now. Our next big stretch goal is audio! Which everyone* gets if we fund it! https://t.co/yN12a680vG
I feel silly, because I keep forgetting to mention our ebook & artprint backing level. If you don't have space on your shelves for physical books (I feel you) but you want a copy of the book AND you love our fabulous artwork by @ZoeBadini, then it's the perfect level!
$112 dollars away from The Alchemy of Sorrow having 13 amazing pieces of artwork by @ke_rosero!!! So, to entice you, here's two Rosero pieces, AND our latest cover art sketch by @ZoeBadini. The hardcover will feature naked artwork under the dust jacket. https://t.co/kQvzEIqKm4
Did some art. I am not 100% happy with it, but I don’t hate it. I love the star dragons. Now I’m going to bed.
Ok. It’s way past bed time, but I stayed up to draw a bit and it could be the exhaustion talking, but I kinda don’t mind this one. I want to add some more to it tomorrow I think, but figured I’d share for now.
2021 has been kind of a wild ride. I haven’t been able to write for ~2 months (thanks depression) & took about 4 months off on purpose, so it’s been a low word count year. BUT I released Blade’s Edge’s audiobook in Jan & I released Sairō’s Claw in May! I also learned to draw! 1/?
