Uryuu was almost a hat stall. The sorting took everyone by surprise. The first Gryffindor from a long line of pure blooded Slytherins- the first Gryffindor Ishida (but not the last).

Rukia was a hat stall- it took her over 10 minutes to be sorted. The stall only ended when she started tearing up out of fear that she would be kicked out for not being a real witch (muggle-born). Head boy Kaien gave her the warmest welcome when she finally joined their table.

People in different houses generally don't call each other by name. An unspoken rule- these two, however, as then tend to be, have been an exception since the start.

Legend has it if you run into the gryffindor prefect out of hours all u have to do is ask him about your charms homework and he'll get so into explaining it to you he forgets to give you detention

Kuchiki Rukia, youngest seeker in a century, hufflepuff quidditch captain, has the biggest fanclub in all of Hogwarts, keeps getting distracted by the orange-haired Slytherin seeker during matches...
