these characters were in a grindcore band called BxSx, underground extreme music was their whole Thing, BUT ALSO i designed them when i was a lame 16 year old and they were all dudes, 3/4 white and 3/4 skinny so they need to be redone almost COMPLETELY before i use them again

what did i tell you

for now here are 2 doodles I'VE done of the character: meeting my own OC n. shroud (who is fanatical about ghosts n spirits n all things spooky n paranormal), & trying to sway aku aku with his siren song (they have a Complicated Bittersweet History (may or may not be ex-lovers))

i miss photoshop's surface blur tool, but i'm figuring out how to get a similar effect without it but more manually and i think my lighting is just gonna end up being better in the long run bc of it. this little aku face is already so much better lit than most of what ive drawn

brio, simultaneously, any time aku aku starts doing magic stuff and bein all mystical n shit and the scientist remembers he's married to an ancient spirit whose very existence defies everything we know about how life and consciousness works

ill have to produce some sort of imagery of cortex and tropy in them eventually (or will i? maybe this is an honor reserved for the igors. i hc (against all common sense) both of them as listening to sludge metal but not cortex or tropy)
