i am gonna do a thread of all the art of brio being the bandicoots' funny uncle/second dad that i've done so far just because

visual essay

out of all my previous attempts at tawna this one is the slickest looking character design and the nicest to look at but it does not look ANYTHING like crash bandicoot and she's not cartoony enough

will i ever figure out a way to draw tawna that i'm happy with? probably not.

@NightlyJambles it seriously is a fantastic character design, there's so much appeal but so much contrast at the same time, it's so memorable and charming and just a delight to look at. the other strongest design in this franchise i think is nitros oxide, the villain of the racing spinoff (lol)

n. shroud, a paranormal specialist who uses mad science to "tame" (read: control) ghosts and spirits (which includes the masks). they come to the wumpa islands seeking to capture the many spirits inhabiting them and harness their magic, turning aku and uka against crash and co.

shroud's face both when they find cool paranormal entities to seize as their "babies" BUT ALSO their face when the wumpa island spirits break free from their control and their mortal ass is about to get smote
