First one I played was RF : Frontier and I never knew wtf was happening cause I spent every part of the game looking for monsters instead of farming.

I really wanted a Jailcat plush when I was a kid. Just look at that face tho.
I swear if we don't get DQ Monsters games in the future I'm gonna snap. The first one has a special place in my heart and I recommend people to try any out.

My starter whom I've taken such a liking to. Monster Crown is pretty cool. The odd breeding and evolution mechanic makes it fun to experiment. Also may have given me a shock when a dude got destroyed by sea monsters early in the game
