My kitty illustration of the day: the Pallas's Cat! Also known as the Manul, this grumpy-looking cat is native to the open grasslands of Mongolia. Like the black-footed cat, it uses the burrows of other species for refuge. In this case the Siberian marmot! Gotta say, I'm a fan.
This evening's kitty illustration, the Sand Cat (Felis margarita). Second smallest of the African cats, found in isolated populations across the Sahara and Middle East. Pretty cute square-headed guys. 🥰
