@waimoforever I mean, the guy was on top of the world at this point, so much so that his Hammer parachute pants were a direct influence on the character design for Aladdin. The animators even confirmed that in some of the old behind-the-scenes interviews.
I'm seeing people just now starting to notice similarities between Thor and He-Man.

I'm calling it now. Ethan Hawke is a great actor who has famously avoided superhero stuff until Moon Knight, but no matter how good he is in it, I guarantee #FilmTwitter™️ will be like "THIS is why he changed his mind...?!"
I look forward to retweeting this in a few weeks.
The '70s were a very interesting time for DC Comics. The first generation who grew up reading comics were now the creators and they wanted these characters to move past the overtly-censored sci-fi goofiness of the '50s and the self-aware campiness of the '60s.
Seriously, the Joker from these commercials was highly underrated, and he was played by Curtis Armstrong from Revenge Of The Nerds!
March will be the month of Moon Knight and The Dark Knight!
LET'S GOOOO!!!!
