And you, if you see this and want to share. Yes, you! https://t.co/QSpuxqNECQ
Thank you for the tag! Here's a mix of recent-ish traditional and digital pieces. Let's see if we can keep this art train going with:
@hexergraf @artbytaggerung @KLeCrone https://t.co/cbLwP2Vaen
@InfinitePaintr End of 2019 vs. now-ish (incidentally done in Infinite Painter).
Just saw the hashtag #SkillNotTalent and I love it, because yeah. Art is a skill that needs work to be developed.
Here's my first attempt at a digital sketch with some shading vs. one of my recent ones.
2018 vs. 2022
@AdorkaStock Thank you for this!
I am definitely leaning towards realism with my stuff, but I am branching into fantasy, too.

I'm always happy when I get to draw one of my gorgeous friends.
A little sketch of the wonderful @Gina_M_Black.

And some proper colour. Still experimenting with doing darker skin in pastel tones.
@chelseakenna The idea of "you have to be good by age x" is so tied into the "you have to have talent" bullshit and is super, duper harmful.
My art at age 32/3 vs. My art at 36/37.
The difference? Practice. Just practice. Deliberate and focused practice.
Me: I need better, more accurate references for likenesses.
Me, a big brain: Oh, I know! I'm just going to teach myself how to sculpt heads in 3d!
First try in Nomad Sculpt didn't go terribly.
