We already knew that this image of "Matsuoka-senshu" depicts him taking a break during training, but Miyashige explained why we got to see such a rare glimpse of his bare thighs: his usual legskins would make the pull buoy he's got next to him more difficult to grip properly! 🤯

As we all know, eventually Haruka & Rin became Mizuno's Sports Cheering Ambassadors in 2021. And in March 2022, in a project that coincided with the timing of the Japanese national team trials, two new Free! The Final Stroke-inspired illustrations of Haruka & Rin were released.

To be fair: these two postcards were already for MIZUNO SWIM, but the previous campaign with actual goods fell under Mizuno's Reach Beyond line-up.
