I like to think that they are proud of everything Cloud has done to save the planet, but are still worrying and caring about him. Just like in AC.

And yes, young Cloud is shortie and no one can change my mind! xDDDD

I wanted to study @CrazyNomura 's Art Style and end up with Cloud Strife, as a keyblade wielder. (or as a Kingdom Hearts protagonist if you prefer xD)
