This is my version of Penguina, which made it onto Antarctic Press' cover of PENGUINA #1. :D

This page would've been finished but the pose didn't feel right. I've been fighting with myself when it comes to using references. That voice in the back of my head whispers, "You're relying too much on these 'crutches.'"

Chipping away at this project. This here is Ruviq. In the classic roles, he's the mage/caster, who is also a dragon. His hoard? Magnets. (His name comes from a Guild Wars 2 character of mine. There happened to be a Rubik's Cube on my desk that day.)

There are Pros and Cons to each style, but the sketchy look has become a favorite of mine. Now if I could only make the switch in my comic, rather than defaulting back to a "cel-shaded" look.
