And obligatory timelapse \o/ I found myself obsessing a little too much over the colors and water texture early on so I covered the whole thing in a color effect layer, had my eyedropper set to Color From Layer, and was able to cobble things together easier!

Some WIPs of this piece. Deeply amused at the face on the initial sketch/value blocking haha

The Port Jackson shark is a species of bullhead shark found in the coastal waters surrounding Australia, especially Sydney Harbor (aka Port Jackson). I thought that would make a lovely "Wish You Were Here" type postcard illustration for the Swim On Zine~
