Retainers are sidekicks that adventure alongside the player characters. Players control these tough-as-nails up-and-coming heroes, using updated rules from Strongholds & Followers. This goblin sneak wants to join your party!

Action-oriented creatures are boss monsters that are encountered alone or with a handful of underlings. Behold, Xorannox the Tyract, an action-oriented overmind that rules his subjects through fear ... and floating psionic eyeballs.

You also get some totally new creatures, like the corpse collector! This bone construct journeys into graveyards and tombs to gather bodies for necromancers. They can also charge corpses with necrotic energy and hurl them like bombs!
