I think this is why I keep trying to make fan art in ways that don't involve painting or drawing eyes, like my "retro" pixel art or the recent attempt to make tiny drawings.

But even that is a pain so for a while I quit making physical art and just making pixel art.

And then switched to try drawing digital Chibis, first with simple eyes like my LEGOs but then trying to make "fancier" eyes.

I'm already anxiously waiting until I can find the @bushi_creative Genshin Impact vol.5 charms with Raiden, Eula, & Ayaka (3 of my mains) but every time I see #YunJin, I just hope there will be a 6th vol. with her.
