And that's where my research started..
Obviously in my native country (Italy) Petasites japonicus can't be found, but not its close relative, the Petasites hybridus.

The butterbur referred in Shaman King is the Petasites japonicus giganteus, also known as "Fuki" (フキ) and it is believed by the Ainu's tribe that the gentle little people, named Koropokkur, (コㇿポックㇽ) live underneath their leaves, in order to protect nature.

There's a particular character who was very dear to me: HoroHoro, an Ainu from Hokkaidō, raised by his tribe to save their village. As part of this goal, he intends to plant a vast field of Butterbur.

For today #FossilFriday I'm particularly excited to present you two stunning specimen of one of my absolute favourite dino: Allosaurus. In photo 1-2 we have A. jimmadseni, while in 3-4 A. fragilis.
The key to tell apart one specimen from the other is the shape of the jugal.
