...so, that's an attempt at two views of the same city. These are some other #CharacterArt WIPs from bits of down time away from the work project I'm currently focussed on. Just trying to keep up with my #DigitalPainting practice when I'm on a break.
"From the hill you got your first view of The port city of Skandar.
Bell-towers and steep tiled roofs climb on top of one other, seemingly attempting to flatten themselves against the Terminous Stack, the tall black cliff that appears to be trying to push Skandar into the sea".

...these exercises in landscapes and environments are all part of it too. Extending my campaign writing into studies for (hopefully) improving my artwork.
Plus this guy, #Swashbuckler/#Rogue. Again, happy(ish) with some outcomes, the head, the pauldrons, the buckles on the gloves & quickly rendered leather bags etc, but some stuff still needs work, controlling the forms, posture, using more ref, spending more time on finishes etc.
