I often post new work here but I never really get to show old stuff. But here’s the closest thing I find to an old piece of artwork to match a new one. The older piece is from 2013 and the one on the right, I just completed last week!

this was the first oil painting that i did of my girlfriend when i first started using oils in 2017 and here is my newest one that i completed last night

I began working on this painting in May of 2019. While working on it, I realized that it wasn’t going anywhere. So after spending over a hundred hours on it, I decided to paint over it and start again. After ten months, I finally completed it.
