@MegaBerlitz Vastaya was actually the big inspiration when I was designing a character with this same theme!! I agree that it’s is SO DOABLE and can be gorgeous. Great minds think alike I guess😭😘

Rendering terrifies me because I never know where to start or how. Especially trying to do this closer to a Riot style of illustration, but the progress is coming along.

I feel like a lot of “splash art” I see are over complicated by the background, action, and effects.

Capturing the essence of the skin or character allows for such superior compositions. Perfect examples of how to use extra to enhance the overall essence.

Now you can do super dynamic posing but even those piece still show case the character and very readable.

Ok let’s talk artwork composition and how important it is.

So trying to do this splash I have studied these splashes over and over and I’ve noticed that simple is so much more. It’s really just execution. Some of the best works from league are simple posed but breathtaking
